*According to the Australian Bureau of Statistics (2020) in the financial year of 2019-2020.

What will you study?

Our Certificate III in Business is composed 6 core units and 7 elective units. These units will provide you with introductory knowledge of how to operate within a professional environment including how to apply critical thinking, support personal wellbeing and inclusive work practices.

To tailor your learning experience to your career goals, choose from elective units that complement the core curriculum. If you are unsure, our experienced staff can assist in selecting the best options for your needs.

Specialisations are a group of elective units that focus on a specific area of the industry (e.g., Leadership). Upon completion, your chosen specialisation will be reflected on your testamur and transcript.

If you enrol in a specialisation, you will not complete the standard h&h elective units.

Where standard h&h electives are offered, there are two distinct streams you can choose from, based on your career interests:

h&h Elective Units (Group A) – Ideal for individuals aiming to develop broad skills for entry into administrative or corporate roles. This stream focuses on areas such as maintaining business records, processing customer complaints, purchasing goods and services, effective teamwork, digital communication, writing simple documents, and managing personal work priorities.

h&h Elective Units (Group B) – Best suited for those wanting to strengthen their skills in using technology in the workplace. This stream includes units on designing and producing spreadsheets and business documents, creating electronic presentations, using digital tools for collaboration and communication, writing simple documents, and organising work priorities.
