How do I use the online platform?

I have entered the wrong password and now I am locked out.
- When prompted click on the ‘unblock link’.
- Click on the ‘re-captcha’ and follow the instructions.
The system is programmed to think that you are a ‘bot’ and will block you for too many failed attempts. Once you have completed the ‘re-captcha’ it will reset your account and you may continue to log in.
If this problem persists please contact the college for technical support on 96820100.
How do I upload my assessment online?
To upload your assessment online we use the following platforms:
Google drive, Drop box, One drive and YouTube
Do I need to let someone know that I have completed my online quiz?
It is not necessary for you to notify us that you have complete your first aid quiz as we are able to see this.
Can I complete the online quiz if I do not have a computer?
Yes, you may be able to access the first aid online quiz on your tablet, desktop or laptop.
If you do not have access to these devices the college will provide a laptop for you to use at our college for 2 hours. We require two weeks notice so that we may organize this for you.
How will I receive access to the online quiz?
You will receive an email from the college two weeks prior to your first aid practical. This email will include a booking confirmation of your first aid practical and a step by step process of how to access it.
The email will be sent to the email you have provided to us at the time of enrollment. If your email address has changed please contact us as soon as possible so that we may update this in our database.
When I am answering the questions, the page freezes and I cannot continue.
Please make sure that you are using the following browsers: Google chrome and firefox. If you have a mac laptop or apple iphone refrain from using safari browser as this causes the page to freeze. It is recommended to complete your online course work on a laptop, tablet or desktop as mobile phones have cause some errors in the past.
Also, make use of the ‘save and continue’ button on the bottom of each page so that your data can be saved.
How Long is the turn around for assessment to be marked?
The marking turn around is 14 days maximum.
How will I receive my results?
If you are using the App on your smart device and have your notifications turned on you will receive a pop-up notification on your phone/tablet. If you are using your desktop, you will have a pop up on your notifications bell on your dashboard.
How do I resubmit a question if it is wrong?
The trainer will notify you that you have a resubmission to submit E.G 1.2 quiz wrong and will provide you access to redo this question.
I forgot my password, what do I do?
Administration will be able to reset your password, please contact the college on 96820100 and the Online Support team will assist you.
Why are my modules locked?
This may be due to not completing your first two modules see below modules to be completed prior:
*Welcome to class: Your journey begins here!
*Canvas: How to use – Overview and Resources.
Once you have completed the above two modules, Canvas will allow you to unluck your next modules (units) by clicking next.
I am unable to add two videos’ at once for my quiz
To save a second video you must upload the first video and then add the second vide, it will show only one video on the quiz however both videos will be sent. If you’re unsure, please contact the college for further assistance.
I have already completed a module (unit) do I have to do it again?
No definitely not, please contact your trainer/ coordinator and they will excuse you from completing the unit.
My laptop is broken and I’m unable to access my course
- You can access the course through any smart phone or tablet.
- Look at going to a public library to use their computers.
- Contact h&h to see availability of an iPad or laptop for use whilst on campus.
- Contact your trainer or reception and we can print you a paper version of that Unit to either be collected from the college or mailed to you.
If I am unable to complete all the quiz questions, can I come back to that quiz?
Absolutely, if you enter an answer into a particular quiz and do not complete all the questions within that quiz you can come back to it as the individual questions are saved automatically, (Please, do not press submit until you have completed all the questions).
I have submitted my questions however I want to change my answer
Once you have submitted a question you will have to wait for your trainer to mark it. If your question requires more information, then your trainer will let you know and you will be able to resubmit
Online First Aid quiz queries
What are the online requirements to attend First Aid practicals?
Each student will be provided with an online link consisting of 10 quizzes that must be completed prior to attending your first aid practical session. These online quizzes are compulsory for every student that is attending the first aid practical.

DocuSign Queries
I am unsure on how to use DocuSign.

I have logged into DocuSign and it jumps straight to another section.
This is correct as DocuSign is designed to allow for the numerous recipients involved in the paper trial to complete their sections.
ie. The trainer is required to sign their part after the student completes their individual information. If you are unsure if you have completed the form correctly you will be prompted to download it after completion.
