Whether you work in a shop, restaurant, health setting or somewhere else, the pandemic has us all worried about infection control – but h&h Accredited Training at Granville is here to fix that.

h&h is offering infection control training, subsidised by the NSW Government’s Smart & Skilled funding.

h&h Accredited Training, Registered Training Organisation (RTO 90784) in Granville, teaches childcare, aged care, business and individual support, but has been enlisted by Training NSW to help train more people to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and other infections.

“Our infection control training is an effective way for people who work in retail or food to learn how to keep themselves, their business and the community safe,” says h&h Accredited Training General Manager Kate Lovett.

“It’s a really easy online course, where you learn everything you need to know – we’ve already trained a wide variety of people, including 350 staff at an aged care provider in Sydney.”

* If you meet criteria like 15 years or over and no longer attending school, living and working in NSW and being a citizen or permanent resident of Australia or New Zealand – or a humanitarian visa holder – then Smart & Skilled NSW government funding covers the cost of the training. Call (02) 9682 0100 for further information.

The training can take place online where learners will discover:

  • How to don and doff personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • The 8 vital steps of handwashing and hand rubbing
  • Understanding contamination zones and what to do next

Upon successful completion of the course, learners will be issued a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment in either HLTINFCOV001 or HLTINF001.
