We offer Certificate III and Diploma qualifications, while also supporting traineeships to support early childhood educators to earn as they learn. We work with industry partners to help our learners gain work-ready skills and vocational placements.

The childcare and early childhood education sector often requires Working with Children checks and First Aid, which we also support.

We offer Smart & Skilled funding to eligible students, as well as flexible payment plans. h&h is an approved VET Student Loans provider, meaning learners may also have an option to defer their fees until their income reaches a certain amount. CHC30113 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care

Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care qualifies you to perform an entry-level role in Early Childhood Education workplaces. This is the minimum qualification to work in the industry, in roles that may include job titles like, Early Childhood Co-Educator, Assistant Educator, Early Childhood Assistant or Trained Early Childhood Educator.

Students who undergo Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care will gain the skills and knowledge to work in an entry-level position in childcare workplaces, as well as acquire the foundations for a long and successful career in this constantly expanding industry.

Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care has both theoretical and practical components. The Certificate is made up of 18 units that can be completed at our campus in Granville, NSW, over 26 weeks, or completed using distance learning over 12 months.

h&h is also working to support all our qualifications with online study options. Our traineeships – where you earn while you learn – are also popular, with a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care traineeship taking between 12 and 24 months.

h&h Accredited Training offers weekday and weekend classes classroom study options. Smart & Skilled Funding is available for eligible students. The college offers easy weekly or fortnightly payment plans if you are not eligible for government funding. We will also recognise any prior learning and transfer credits from other studies, if eligible.

CHC50113 Diploma of Early Childhood Education & Care

The Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care empowers students to plan, implement and manage early childhood services programs.  Students gain qualifications that enable them to supervise staff and volunteers. It is the highest qualification required at Director or Service Manager level for children’s service-based care in most Australian states.

Diploma graduates become eligible to apply for positions such as Authorised Supervisor, Children’s Services Coordinator, Centre Manager, Director, Childcare Worker, Group Leader, Team Coordinator, Children’s Advisor, Program Leader, Children’s Service Manager and Child Development Worker.

Students who undergo this course learn the theoretical and practical components required to advance their career in childcare and early childhood education. The Diploma in childcare in Sydney is made up of 28 units and can be taken at our campus in Granville, NSW, over 15 to 24 months, as a distance learning course over 15 to 24 months or as a traineeship over 18 to 24 months.
